The forming of the pipe production line is completed by the mold, the sizing sleeve and the cooling device. The mold for producing plastic pipes is composed of a shunt bracket, a mold body, a mandrel, and a forming die. Due to the different shearing force when the material flows through the support, the shearing force near the support is greater than that at the center. In the support area, the flow of the material has a certain speed difference. If the compression ratio of the mold is too small or the straight section is too short , there will be stent traces on the inner wall of the tube, and longitudinal cracks will be left in severe cases.
If the polyolefin type large-diameter pipe uses a bracket-type mold, it will form the longitudinal ridges on the inner wall of the pipe due to the current stent. Therefore, micropores are generally used in the production of large-diameter high-density polyethylene pipes, gas pipes and some important new material polyolefin pipes. In order to ensure the correct geometric shape, dimensional accuracy and roughness of the tube, the tube blank with a relatively high temperature must be sizing and cooling after leaving the die, and the sizing device plays this role. There are generally two sizing methods for pipes, outer sizing and inner sizing.
